“Picasso – The Art of Loving” is a concept album that intertwines music and thought in a sonic journey where contrasts meet and find harmony. Soul, jazz, and world music blend with electronic textures, creating musical canvases where oxymorons become dialogue: Yin and Yang, pain and joy, death and life, the inheritance of values versus spiritual emptiness, appearance and essence.
KaMa is a soul artist with a visceral and deep voice, capable of touching the soul of anyone who listens. She is an eclectic bilingual singer and songwriter, whose main feature is the alternation of various vocal registers, allowing her to embrace numerous styles.
She built her musical journey in the United Kingdom, training under the mentorship of British artists such as Noel Robinson (Gospel award), Jill Cooper, Fabio D’Andrea, Troy Miller (producer of Gregory Porter and drummer for Amy Winehouse), Ian Mackenzie (Ronnie Scott Jazz Orchestra), Les Getrex, Jonn Finn, Luca Fiore, David Millingan.
She studied at the BIIM Music Institute, where she graduated with recognition from the London College of Music.
Over the years she has attended several workshops with Lalah Hathaway, Jessi J, Norma Winstone, Abraham Laboriel, Ian Shaw, Karima, Elisabetta Prodon, Pietro Praticò.
KaMa has been featured on various radio stations (London One, Norba) and TV channels (RAI – The Voice, Canale 7, Rete 7) and Festivals.
After moving to Turin for love, she has deepened her knowledge of Jazz with Barbara Raimondi at the conservatorio of Turin. Besides, she collaborated with prominent artists from the Turin and Italian music scenes such as Davide Shorty, Johnson Righeira, Blackrockstar, Gianluca Palazzo, Stefania Tasca, Gianni Virone, Cesare Mecca, Manuel Moscaritolo, Alberto Scarano, Marco Cerrato, Emanuele Sartoris, Simone De Venuto, Angelo Viviani, Gionathan, Doncare, GroovHertz, Martin Craig, Paul Zogno, Davide Crisci, Giulio Nobile, Diego Sergi, Tommaso Cammarotto, Riccardo D’angelo, and many more.
At the moment she is currently working on her new album: "Picasso - The Art of Loving" a Neo Soul autobiographical project that marks her artistic and personal rebirth with Attica Records under the guidance of Stefania Tasca.
